children were killed. >> reporter: at first court records say he considered attacking the new york stock exchange but due to the heavy security decided to bomb the fed instead. prosecutors say he wasself radical and only thought he was part of al-qaeda. >> sort of -- they are really trying to fill some sort of grand act to make themselves look bigger. >> reporter: according to police this was the 15th alleged terror plot against new york since 9/11 1. experts say to expect more. abc news new york. >> three people are behind bars in connection with the murders of five people at a bar. police say that the bar was set on fire to hide a crime and the motive was robbery. an officer on patrol noticed the fire last night. inside forts found the bodies of one man and four women including the bar's owner. tips led them to the three men.

they are facing murder, robbery and arson. >> and a man is charged with killing his grandparents. 31-year-old matthew long was sent from oklahoma. he is being held without bail. long is charged with two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of his grandparents in their home. he had been in the hospital for trying to kill himself in an oklahoma hotel room days days after the murder. some fans are mad over the orioles ticket policies. we have been getting calls wanting to know why the team won't refund a six dollar service charge. we went to the top. more on what the maryland attorney general said about your rights. >> reporter: that's right. many of us rushed for a playoff game ticket. in many cases we bought tickets for games that weren't played

and the face value of the ticket was funded plus the convenience fee. what you don't get back is the fee for processing, shipping handling. that amounts to six dollars per order. we went to maryland attorney general today to see if fans have any recourse. he said you are out of luck because you were told up front. >> if they charged you x dollars and didn't tell you that was the ticket price plus the service charge and then didn't refund the service charge portion that would be illegal. >> reporter: that was not the case here. the fee was explained with your order. this isn't the first time a major league team has heard this complaint. the new york yankees used to have the same policy but in 2002 the new york attorney general went to the yankees front office and complained. in an agreement 90% of those fees were returned to fans. abc 2news. >> all right. you saw the crawl this morning.

. you probably know somebody with breast cancer, a friend, family, maybe yourself. so much research is being done to improve treatment. some huge strides are being made here in baltimore. linda tells us that researchers have found something that could stop it from spreading. >> reporter: >> reporter: while looking at how cells spread a doctor found something new. >> we studied free floating tumor cells and found they generated these tentacles that hadn't been seen before. they form these long extensions. >> reporter: those seen here in this video play a significant role in breast cancer patients and the odds of cancer returning in other parts of the body. >> main tumors in breast cancer shed millions of cells into the bloodstream every day.

the question of significance to patients is really what are the fates of them? they are moving. >> reporter: the doctor said most of those cells die but the one that make it into the bloodstream can pose a risk. >> when cancer moves from the first organ to a another site they often travel through the blood. this of course is one of the most dangerous parts of the disease for patients because the first tumor is often easily removed but once it spreads it's harder to treat. >> reporter: to those who have breast cancer the risk of it happening again is always there. >> we have a strong family history of breast cancer. my mother had the same thing about 20 years ago. >> reporter: the goal of the research which is partly funded by komen is to prevent it from

late and seven ori. early morning, you could face wet avoids, for that early morning drive and of course that never helps the traffic situation. here is the set up now. warm southerly breeze out of the gulf coast states. that is really warming us up. to the forth we have that cooler air trying to wrap in. that will get here for the weekend. 47 that's it. in chicago and that contrasts generating this storm. right along that boundary. this storm will be a northern mover, up over new england. the trailing front, you see it here, that's south of the great lakes, that's what e rain to us the main storm itself, putting the rain down and -- cold, nasty rain up here into wisconsin. that will pass to the north. tonight 55 scattered showers, cloudy, breezy, that's the set up tomorrow. the two degree guarantee 74, early morning source possible. then clearing and breezy and by tomorrow night cooler and dry down to 48.

. a desperate search for a missing oregon woman, she disappeared between her home and her job five minutes away

at starbucks. her suv was found mile away with a broken window. her husband said the morning she went missing she kissed him good-bye and left like normal. >> her normal thing. got up, just kissed me good-bye and i kind of woke up and said bye. >> when she didn't show up at work her boss called her husband. she has been missing since tuesday. police say cameras recorded her car pulling in to a gas station but couldn't make out who was in the vehicle. three people are dead and one hurt after a shooting at a hair salon in florida. among the dead was a pregnant woman who may have been shot over jealousy. it's believed a second incident at a home which left one dead and another hurt may also be connected. we have a mother accused of encouraging her daughter to beat up a classmate. a 28-year-old mom was arrested for organizing. the victim is a 13-year-old. a witness who helped break up the fight said it was over a

boy and the mom started it. >> i just said really? over teen drama you brought your daughter to have a fight and promote it with a lot of men that you brought here, obviously to also want to fight. >> the mother said she didn't tell her daughter to fight but despite that she is still facing felony charges. she is being held on a five thousand dollar bond. still unclear if her daughter will be charged. >> the boy scouts revealed more than a thousand pages of documents today. >> the secret child abuse files and you will hear from the organization what they are saying. >> and anti virus software that's supposed to be the way to protect your computer but scammers are using that to rip you off. >> and inside the new exhibit at your baltimore aquarium. in my belief ted that the government should treat everyone equally.

i wouldn't want someone denying my rights based upon their religious views, so i shouldn't deny others based upon mine. it's about fairness. i support this law because it doesn't force any church to perform a same sex marriage if it's against their beliefs. and that's what this is about. protecting religious freedom and all marylanders equally under the law. join me in voting for question 6.
